Fit of your 10-325 30" shower sweep to my shower door

Quick Learner from Naperville, Illinois
Dear Sirs,
I have a 25 year old walk in shower and have attached an image of the shower door bottom with its current shower sweep. I want to replace the existing sweep, due to age, discoloration and a split at the end not shown in this image. Your 10-325 chrome finish sweep appears to be workable as a replacement, even though it is not exactly the same shape as the current sweep. My door is ~28" long so I would have to cut two inches off the 10-325, but your Q/A list indicated this would be easy to do. I might have to drill two new holes and probably would order two of your stainless steel screws with the sweep, as fasteners. From what you can see, would you agree, the 10-325 would do the job for me?

Hello! I agree, our 10-325 looks like a great match. In my experience, I've never installed one of these without having to cut or at least drill new holes first, so it's very likely you will need to do the same. Otherwise I always find this drip rail to be very, very versatile.
