Fixed door bracket

A home owner from Lansing, MI says:
Hi there,

The fixed side of our patio door has two of these brackets (both of which are broken). They appear to keep the door locked flush against the side of the door frame. There is some play on the fixed door currently. If the brackets were still intact the door would rest nice and tight in the frame, but now that they are broken the fixed door rocks a bit letting in a slight draft. Not sure if replacing the two broken brackets is the best remedy or if another solution is better. Thanks!
