Fixing a broken channel balance and clip

Question

Hello, I'm trying to replace a broken window mechanism and have no clue what I'm looking for. I know one of the channel balances is missing as well as the take out clip. I have another window right next to it and it is stamped with 26-4 AF5 CMC 61. It measures 27" in length, 9/16" wide at the edge of the u-channel and 5/8" deep. If I am just replacing a missing one do the end clips have to match the balance on the other side?

Thanks for posting. I believe you have an older balance no longer made. I recommend looking at our Series 385 channel balance, this may be a good replacement option.
