Flat rigid spline for patio window vinyl

Question

We have an older enclosed patio on a golf course. The movable windows 18" x 22" are clear vinyl.
The vinyl is held in place by a flat narrow rigid spline 3/16"w x 5/32"h.
I don't have any idea how old these windows are, but they are mechanically in great condition. I have tried round spline but it did not hold well.
