Float Away Closet Doors

Question

I have four sets of bifold Float Away closet doors in a house my wife and I purchased and I am curious if we can convert them to Bifold Tracks that only need a top track and bottom Pivot. I have 3x - twin bifold doors across approx 47" closets and 1x single bifold door spanning 35".

Hey, Dan. I have never heard of anyone successfully converting a metal bi-fold door with no bottom track. However if you wanted to try to cut the bottom track, make sure to leave a few inches for the pivot piece.
