Flush Bolt

A quick learner from Texas says:
I'm not sure how to measure for a replacement flush bolt. I measured from the bottom of the door to the middle of the lock and it measure 18" but I only see two different lengths, the 10" bolt and 12"

Any suggestions?

We'd like for you to take a look at the video below on both the 79-096 and 79-093 flush bolts. When we refer to the 12" and 10", we are referring to the locking rod. If your locking rod is a different length, in some cases, we have recommended to reuse it in the new replacement flush bolt lock. Get back to us and let us know if any other questions come up.
