Foam spline for Anderson screens

A quick learner from Delaware says:

I am re-screening a bunch of Anderson screens from windows installed in 2008. The screens have the aluminum spline. What size spline should I buy .25 or .27 foam?

Thanks

Doug

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Good question, Doug. We recommend the 59-250 foam screen spline. This is with a .250 diameter. We have known this size spline to be used quite often when replacing the metal spline used in Andersen screens. Look it over and see what you think.

A professional from PA says:
Use the .250 if you are re installing Aluminum screen

Use the .270 if you are using fiberglass screen
