Forever Door latch needed

A quick learner from front storm door says:
May 4, 2011
the door latch on my front storm door just spins around 360 degrees and I can't figure out how to fix it. I was wondering if I need to buy a new latch. It is a "The Forever View" door with a serial no. A-153395. I have added an image of the latch. the other side is a brass lever door handle. Thanks for your help.

Have you taken a look at the Swisco 40-150 Inside Handle? It looks similar to your existing handle.

Be sure to compare the dimensions of your handle to that of the Swisco 40-150 before considering it as a replacement.
