Front Door. Door sweep

The door has no markings on it to get identity. This door is approximately 15 years old, and the door sweep snaps into the bottom. Measurement is the standard 36" by 1 3/4.

We may be able to help. Can you tell me the distance between the two kerfs? That will help us find a replacement sweep that can fit in the same installation slots. In the meantime, you can see our entire selection here.

What are the kerfs?

The kerfs are the slot-shaped inserts that snap into the channel and hold the sweep onto the bottom of the door. Yours are somewhat arrow-shaped: the two pieces running along the top of the sweep.

The distance is one inch.

Thanks! I'm afraid we couldn't find anything with that distance. You may want to consider something like our 58-176, which just wraps around the whole bottom of the door and installs on the sides using screws. Could you use this?
