Full Vu Metal Bi Fold Doors

Quick Learner from brooklyn new york

We have 3 bi fold doors that need repair and one double bifold door that needs repair.

They all need new stationary pins, plus the pins with the springs. the double bifold door keeps opening off the track, not sure if it piece that runs across the track is too short.

Do we need two pins for each stationary corner? if so, which part number. also for the moving part of the door, which part would be need. We also need the piece that fits into the track where the stationary side fits into (picture 2).

Thanks for reaching out to us. This looks like an older door, so I'm not sure if we can get you these exact parts. However we do carry a wide assortment of bifold pins, I'm sure we can get something that works.

Before I make a recommendation, however, I will need more information from you. Please give me the exact diameter of both the metal pin and the nylon cap that fits into the track for each case. That will help me find parts that will fit the same way.

See the measurements. Looking forward to possibly having this repaired

I'm afraid I can't make out your precise dimensions from just a photo of this tape measure. That's not always an easy thing to read from our end, which is an unfortunate limitation of this service. If possible, I'd like you to measure these as carefully as you can and write out what the dimensions are.

I believe the two spring guide pins with nylon caps are a match for our 21-054. The top spring loaded pivot pin will be a combination of the 21-026B pin with one 21-155 palnut (sold separately) pressed on about 1/4" down. Place the pin through the door from the top of the door, through the 21-250 spring and lock the pin with that 21-155 palnut to the door.

The bottom threaded adjusting pin, 21-062, will be for the bottom door corner. This pin will raise, lower and even square the door up to prevent the door coming off the track. You might need some extra 21-150 nylinders to replace any missing ones on the door. These help the door pins to slide smoothly in the door frame.
