Function of a Face Guide?

Hello! The idea of a face guide, such as our 67-002, is to keep the window sash from moving left and right in the track. Basically it adds a little extra stability that helps the window sash stay straight in the window track. It also serves an additional purpose by preventing a metal sash from rubbing against an aluminum track.
