Fw: Window spiral spring

A home owner from USA says:
I am trying to replace the old window springs in my mom's 70 year old home. The current window sash springs are approx. 34 ½ inches long. I was trying to send you pictures of one I have removed. I will have others to replace that are for shorter windows. If you didn't get the pictures let me know and I will try to resend.
Thanks,

Can you please tell me what I need to replace these old window springs? I'm in the process of renovating my mom's house which is about 70 years old.

Thanks,

Hello,

This style of spiral balance with the bracket permanently attached to the spiral hasn't been made in a long time. The good news is that you should be able to get our 5/8" diameter S500-35 to work in the window without issue, along with the 17-012 bracket that is sold separately. Look these products over and let us know if you had any questions. Thanks for posting!

A home owner from USA says:
Most helpful! A ordered a couple of sets to see how they work. Assuming successful, I will be ordering several more.
