Gap in window

Question

Attached are 2 images of the gap and locks. If you need different images, please let me know.

I looked over the whole window and do not see any molding or weatherstrip missing. The only thing missing is the side latch. I have some missing from other windows but it has never effected the locking or created a gap.

Looks like your top tilt latches (which appear similar to our 26-243 and 26-244) might be worn on the angle side, or are simply missing. That might be what's causing the gap between the sashes.
