Gapco Window balances

Do you sell replacement balances and parts for this window made by Gapco? The lower end plastic part is broken and the balance had the number 2740 on it and measures 28 inches from end to end of the metal part as shown in your instructions for measurements. I have a house full of these and many do not raise and lower properly or stay up. I would be very happy to be able to get the parts and/or suggestion for fixing.

Thanks for posting! If at all possible, could you please send us a picture of a balance that hasn't broken? We need to see what that bottom attachment looks like before we offer an applicable substitute.

Here are two more pictures of the lower end of the same kind of Gapco balance with an intact lower end. These windows date from about 1987 when the house was built.

Thank you for the additional picture. Unfortunately, it appears that this balance is broken as well. I think it's safe to say that you have either a Series 380 or Series 385. Please take a look at these two Series and see which one you think most closely resembles your balance. Please also see our 15-004 and 15-005 to see the differences between these two bottom shoes.
