Garden Window Locking Part

A home owner from Doylestown, PA says:
Good afternoon,

I'm trying to find a replacement part for our garden/bay window. The locking mechanism broke and, after being removed by a repair person to attempt part identification, it was never returned (hence the picture showing a missing piece). The base portion is just shy of 4.5" long and 1/2" wide and the lever is 3.5" long.

I matched up the crank information on your site (roto op05-7810) which is Swisco product number 39-226. Not sure if this or the pictures help. I'm a little nervous to remove the working lock as I don't see a method to remove or reinstall. Thank you!

Thanks for writing in. Take a look at the 38-095, 38-096, 38-138 or 38-139. Go over the listed dimensions, particularly the size of the fork, to confirm the best match to your old lock. For removal and replacement details, see the video below.
