Hello - I'm trying replace the crank operator for our garden window in our kitchen. The operator handle was missing (also assuming it is stripped) when we bought the house. The mechanism has 2 holes 3 7/8" apart to attach to the window frame. The arm extends about 9". Can you recommend a good replacement part?

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out! The crank operator for your garden window appears to be a variation of a Jalousie operator. That said, I believe our 39-346 Jalousie Operator Replacement Kit could work for your repairs.
We do not have a replacement for your extended link arm, so you will need to drill out the rivet and install it on the replacement operator. This replacement kit does come with a rivet.

Thanks Jasmine. The handle on the 39-346 is smaller then the one we had. It's going to be a bit hard to reach from where the window's installed. Can we switch out that handle for a longer one?

Yes, this handle can be swapped out. You can remove it by adjusting the set screw. You'll just need to be sure that it has a 3/8" opening so that it will fit onto the operator's spline.
