The arm is 8 in long I see ones u have say 9 in
R the 9 in one an exact measurement
R the arms made of steel so possibly can be cut down and welded I am a good fabricator

The way these operators mount remind me more of our 39-020 and 39-021 than the Getty operators. These also have arms of 9" in length. Instead of cutting the arm down, I recommend re-positioning the track to make up the difference. See if that would help.
