Thanks for posting. This looks like the keeper that comes with the 82-037 Andersen Deadlock Assembly. Unfortunately, Andersen does not supply us the keeper separate from the deadlock. Take a look at the keeper on the product page and see what you think.

Sorry, I should have clarified. The 82-037 is a newer version of your old keeper and deadlock. The protrusion you speak of is missing on the newer keeper; if you look at the 82-037 page, you'll see this protrusion is instead on the mortise lock. Andersen reversed this for some reason. The upshot is that you have to use them together, which is why Andersen supplies them together. Sorry for not being clearer, hope this makes sense.

The thing that I don't get is that the existing striker seems to be "missing" a piece that pushes in the little button that allows you to lock it closed. I tried to fix it and did not. This "new" one you sent me seems to have the same hole in it, and that makes no sense to me?
