Glass retainer clips

I have been searching and searching for something to replace these. Hope you can help.

The brown set of clips goes on an entertainment center. They are 3/4" long and have a 1/16" offset. HOWEVER, the heavy glass is actually totally flush with the wood frame of the cabinet doors. There are "fingers" on the offset, and I wonder (1) if the offset is not really needed because the glass is flush or (2) if it is needful because the glass is thick and heavy . . . ? Several of these clips have split over the years. They bend backwards a tiny bit because of the offset when the glass is flush with the wood.

The clear set of clips comes from kitchen hutch doors. These are 7/8" long and have a 1/4" offset. The kicker is that there were two different styles of clear retainer clips used on both hutch doors, and the second set (not pictured) is 3/4" long and 1/4" offset. (Sigh.) That means the screw holes will be in different places for some, of course. Can I get by with trying to make them uniform or are the screw holes too close to make new ones only 1/8" away? I need to replace some that have broken, but it's a hassle to order two different sizes. But, I'll do it, if called for.
