I believe this patio door is the Silverline 5500/5700 series but I am not 100% sure. I am looking for a new lock ,I have been using a 2x4 on the bottom of the door to secure it.

As you can see, the lock is missing. When it first broke, it ended up falling inside the sliding door.

Thank you for posting. Looking at the side of your door, I think our 82-218 could be a possible match. The only way to confirm, however, is to make sure the hole spacing is the same as our hardware. Also check out our video on how to install this lock, I think it will be very helpful.

If this is indeed the correct part I need, could you tell me what size the 2 screws are that go into the top & bottom holes to keep the lock secure in the frame?

Our 82-218 actually comes with screws that you can use, so they don't need to be purchase separately.
