Glazing Bead?

Think that's what this plastic piece is called. 1/2" wide. Flat surface. From Keller windows circa 1996. Please point me to new as some current is leaking. Thank you.

What's best way for me to get it out w/o breaking it - special tool, screwdriver, etc?

We've related a few videos on this page regarding the removal process that you may find helpful. I'm afraid there isn't a trick to removing it without breaking if it's brittle, however. You just have to try your best to remove an intact sample.
