Glazing Bead for 1985 Mobile Home

A handy person from Marinette, wi says:

Hello,
I'm replacing my father's broken window panes. This is the vinyl/plastic glazing that was on there. The frames are aluminum and the panes are exterior. I'm not finding anything like it. Can I use something else more up to date? Also I can't seem to find information on the difference between a spline and glazing channel.
