Glazing Bead for a non-tilt Viking Window

Home Owner from Pine Grove, CA

I need help identifying my glazing bead. It's difficult to measure, but the open bottom is 11/16" and the side is 11/16". There is a glue type strip on the inside of the glazing bead itself. I am trying to replace this for my 35 year old non-tilt Viking windows. Also, the glazing bead is on the exterior of the window.

Just a sidenote: I am 62 year old woman, who, with the help of your vidoes, replaced all of the channel balances in my windows a few years ago...by myself. They now work almost like new. So, thank you!

Hello! Thanks so much for reaching out to us. I am gratified to hear that our service has been so helpful to you. That means a lot to hear!

Regarding your glazing bead, we don't sell this exact bead. According to my records, it isn't made anymore. Some possible alternatives in our inventory would be the 55-127, 55-057, and maybe even the 55-029. We've recommended these in the past to customers who have the same Viking window but so far nobody has gotten back to us to report of they work.

I'm sorry I can't give a more confident answer. What We can do is give you a sample of each to try out; that way you don't have to commit to a purchase. I'm actually going to take the liberty of emailing you a sample order link; you can use that to order a sample of each product I mentioned directly on our site. These are an inch or so long and free of charge, so all you have to pay for is shipping.

You of course don't have to order any sample at all if you don't want, but I figure it couldn't hurt to offer.
