Glazing bead

hello I know this is a longshot, because I wasn't able to get the proper picture of the bead but I have a customer who would not let me remove the crumbling bead, not even a small section so that I could take a picture. I have a few pictures of the window and kind of an idea of what I think it would look like thank you for your help

I'm afraid we can't identify glazing bead based on these photos. A clear shot of the end profile in undamaged condition is necessary. I know that the old sample is brittle, so that's easier said than done, but there's no other way. It has to be done. The video below will go into more detail as to what information is needed.

Got it, I figured that might be the case. Like I mentioned earlier, the customer wouldn’t allow me to remove a piece, so I wasn’t able to get that clean end profile shot No worries though—I was still able to identify the stop from the picture. I went through my scrap pile and found a matching piece (it’s in black). I’ve attached a photo of it here for you.

Thanks, this is a huge help. Please see our 55-299. This appears to be a dead ringer for your original, and is available in black, but make sure all dimensions match up before you buy anything just to be safe.
