This is from a champion window in Houston,tx. Single pane aluminum. 1/4"x5/8". What type do I need?

For Champion windows, we have offered our 55-006-6 snap in glazing in the past. However, we have had mixed results. Some people say it didn't work, while others say it did, all for the same type of single glazed sash. At this time we can't figure out why it works for some and not for others. The 55-006 has the correct height but is a little short on the width. What do you think?
