Glazing strips are very brittle and need replacing

Quick Learner from Mount Holly N.J.
Could you please tell me if you have anything that will work for these windows. The plastic is brittle and I need six, six foot strips if you have them. Thanks, Dan

Thank you for your patience during this holiday season. We did carry this glazing at one time, but it was discontinued and is no longer made. Please give us a little more time to see if there is a modern glazing that can be used as a substitute. I hope to get back to you soon.

Thank you again for your patience with us during this time. We did some extensive research and your glazing looks like the one used on Bow Lite windows. The company was in Riverton, NJ. They are no longer in business and the replacement glazing bead that was once offered is no longer available. I have these windows in my Sun Room at home and had to replace a piece of insulated glass. I tried both the 55-029 and the 55-197. I had to adapt them a little in the window, but I did get them to work in the window sash. See if you can order in a sample of each and test fit them on your window. Our sample program allows you to order up to five samples of glazing bead for free, you would just be responsible for the shipping fee. To view our samples, go here.
