Glider doesn't snap into place

That depends on whether the problem is with the guide or the track. I don't see any damage on the guide itself, so could the track be the problem? Carefully examine it and see if there are any dents, cracks, or damage that may cause the guide to pop out of the rail.

I would also check the guide, too, in case there is some damage that I'm simply not seeing in your photo.
