I recently inquired about using these. Just wanted to report back that these will work just fine in a Marvin Tilt-Pack replacement window situation, where the track is vinyl. These should be installed on the upper sash, not the outer frame.
Attaching photos of this installed. I think it would be helpful to add something like this to the product page. If not my photos, how about the ones from Andersen's product page?
One of the other customer questions is showing a different product, which I found a bit confusing when trying to evaluate this product for my use. I think it might be helpful to others if you can clarify that the "Vent lock doesn't reach the sash" is really about the other product.
This was great for a Marvin window retrofit install

Thank you so much for the helpful information! I am certain this will aid other customers in the future. We will know where to direct future questions concerning this kind of project.

This is excellent and perfect news! I have the same Marvin windows but stained instead of painted and am in the process of installing a GE Clearview window AC. I was not happy (impressed) with their included wedge and flimsy silver window bracket to help keep my windows safely secured. I also didn't want to use a screwdriver every time I wanted to open that window. PLUS I wanted to make sure that the upper window would also be secure, not just the bottom one. These are perfect.... a little pricey but otherwise perfect fit, easy to use, and good looking. This company should advertise them for people with double-hung windows installing a window AC. Was there any trick needed to install them in the Marvin windows?

Hello! I have used these on windows at my own home and found them not too difficult to install. I would highly recommend them.
