Grill clips

18 years in the hot Florida sun. Only 2 of 8 broken but I fear the rest may be brittle and on the way out. My real question is: how do I install the grills once clips are in place? Something has to bend, I guess?

When I install these types of grills with the attaching clips, I first place the bottom legs of the grill behind the snap-in then the left side followed by the right and then carefully bend the grill so I can place the top of the grill clip behind the snap-in.

As for the clip itself, it's tough to tell while it's installed but it looks like it could be our 55-182. The 55-184 and maybe 55-200 are also possibilities.

Just ordered 10 55-182. Sure looks right to me. I'm still concerned with the bending of the grills. Aluminum and connected vertical/horizontal with a pass-through (one passing through a hole in the other.
