A landlord from Omaha, NE says:

I am needing to replace the aforementioned hardware for casement window hardware that was damaged by wind.

As you may be able to observe, one of the black plastic ends was broken.

It is my understanding that this is an old part, but that you have a replacement part that is interchangeable -- 36-048. Are the black plastic ends available as well?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Bruce

Hi Bruce. I agree that our 36-048 would be the best replacement option. Once the black guide is broken, unfortunately, the entire hinge needs to be replaced. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
