I have a Simonton sliding door, approx 9 years old. In the handle's lock mechanism (need to take the handle off) there is a interior threaded washer that holds the locking lever in the handle. So if I unscrew the handle piece (two screws from inside) and the interior handle part comes loose, it has the locking level (and pin that goes into the lock block). The pin is held in place in the locking lever by the locking washer. I need a replacement washer. Hardware stores sell things that are similar, but not the same.
