the part that the window crank knob fits in is cracked want to purchase and replace just the one part. Should be an egress window. Right side of the window.

We need to see the entire operator, including the arm(s) that move the window. A bird's eye perspective, either with the operator removed from the window or at least with the window open, would suffice. We'll do our best to help from there.

Yes, that helps. I believe you have a Pella split-arm operator similar to the 39-391. Now, Pella changes their hardware fairly frequently, so finding exact replacements can be tricky.
