Handle - sliding glass door (impact)

Home Owner from Miami Florida
Hello: The door handle broke off from a sliding glass door (the door is heavy). I do not see an identifier (part #) on the handle or door.

From where the screws are it is 5 1/2 inches (from screw to screw).

Thank you.

Hello, Fabian. Unfortunately, we do not sell this kind of handle by itself. We do sell complete handle sets, though, and one of ours may work on your door.

If you wanted to pursue that solution, please tell me the distance between the screw holes on the base that screws do the door, center-to-center. Please also show me a clear picture of the mortise lock on the interior of the door. From there, I can check to see if any of our handle sets will work for you.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I am unable to open the door as it is locked as folks work on the exterior of the building as it is a 400 foot drop from by balcony (OSHA). I am sending you additional pics hoping it helps. From screw to screw is 4 inches. I'm also sending you a pic with the plate removed. The handle itself is 5 1/2 inches to where the screws should go. Let me know if this helps. Thx!

Thanks! Based on this new information I believe that our 82-089 is your best bet. We also sell a keyed version under the 82-086. Look these parts over and see what you think.

These should be compatible with your existing mortise lock, but I admit that detail is a little harder to determine. I can at least tell you that I feel more confident about that detail now, thanks to these new photos, than I did before.
