Handle stuck in storm door?

Question

Having trouble removing inside handle from the spindle .
I thought once I removed the screws from the door I could just pull it off and replace it .
It seems stuck !

Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, in some cases you need to almost destroy your older lever handle to remove the existing spindle. I recommend you look to see if there is a small drive pin keeping the spindle in the handle. I have come across this in the past with replacing the 40-150 lever handle.
