24 inchs along the metal portion only. Width across both channel dimensions is 5/8". Both nylon / plastic ends have wings one end is tapered and other end is more square / blunt in shape.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-24 or S385-24 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need to locate the stamp code on the metal balance channel to choose the corresponding strength option.

Thanks. The measurement you are referring to is 1". The stamp code I see on the metal balance is 2390d (B.S.I) 29

It sounds like you need the S380-30 channel balance but your stamp code is from an outdated weight system. I'd recommend weighing your window sash and following the chart under the balance product page description.
