Harcar window off track.

A home owner from Sarasota, Florida says:
I think I need a top sash guide Product Code: 18-172. Please view pix with my identify part submission. Lower window is out of track. Need assistance with replacing it in the track. What do you suggest? Also bright aluminum shaft running up in side the tract does not appear on any of the other windows. I think sash guide must hold it in place.

Thanks for your help.

Paul from SWISCO responded:

You are correct. When a top sash guide breaks the balance channel shoots up pass the sash. I pulled up our media guide on how to replace a broken top sash guide and how to replace a non-tilt channel balance. That should be helpful for you.

A quick learner from Sarasota says:
Thanks for the response. Ordered parts I need at this moment and grateful that I found you.
