I have a set of heavy bifold doors which are all metal and a glass front. The house was built in the mid 80's and I'm guessing they're original. The pins at the fixed end of the door will not stay engaged. After looking more carefully and removing and trying to reinstall the door, I believe the problem I cannot raise the door enough to allow the top pivot "pin" to engage in the hole on the upper pivot. I believe the problem is that the brass colored piece at the lower pivot is out of round so it won't sit in the hole in the door properly. This prevents me from tightening the lower hardware and thus I cannot raise the door.
I'm not sure if the washer shown here is original hardware or something the previous owner added. I don't claim to be perfect, but he was a bit of a "sloppy" DIY-er.

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm sorry to say that we are not familiar with the metal bi-fold door setup you have pictured here. Unfortunately, we were unable to find anything similar to these pieces of hardware in our database on bi-fold doors.
That said, our best suggestion would be to take the hardware to a local hardware store (not a big box store), to see if they are able to match the parts up for you.
I do apologize that we cannot be of help with this repair but please feel free to reach out with any other hardware repair projects you might have.
