How can I access the screws to replace the hardware for 37 year old Marvin windows?
It looks like the wood covering part of the base would need to be removed.

This window operator can be replaced with either the 39-032 EntryGard Dual Arm Operator or the 39-156 Caradco Window Crank. To determine which of these is the best replacement, you'll need to carefully compare the dimension for the link arm.
