Hardware to Match Sliding Glass Door

Home Owner from Peculiar Missouri

Can you please let me know what hardware is a match to these sliding glass doors? Both need rollers replacement badly. Both doors are very hard to open and the sliding hardware is useless and broken. Thank you so much for

your help with this and your time.

Hi, Laura. Unfortunately, the sticker you show doesn't identify any of the hardware. You'd need to take the door down to inspect and identify the roller (or photograph it and send to us). There's unfortunately no easy way out.

Thank you Ben! Unfortunately the info below the doors are also useless!! These darn doors are just 26 years old and the ID# are just worn off. I'm thinking total replacement is next on the lake house to do list. Yuck.Yuck.
Thanks again for your help!!!

Hold on, Laura!

What I'm saying is that the information on a door almost never identifies the associated hardware. They just don't print that kind of stuff anywhere. Otherwise, people would buy a lot of replacement parts from us and no new doors from the manufacturer, and the manufacturer wouldn't let that happen, unfortunately.

I don't recommend replacing the door just yet, though! You may still be able to replace the rollers, but you just need to remove a roller from the door to look at it.

Or you can send us photos of the roller to identify it. If we just see it, we won't need any brand info.

See what you want to do. I think that removing the door to fix the rollers seems cost-effective, but see what you think.

Awesome! Thanks, Laura. Almost every week, we handle doors that run 30+ years in age, and we find parts for them all the time, so don't worry! Andersen is a really promising brand, too; it can be really easy to find their stuff sometimes.

Once we get those photos on Monday, I suspect it will be easy for one of our researchers to solve your issue. Thanks for bearing with us.

Well I like your idea better! I'll get pics of the door rollers, hardware, and send your way. Hopefully it is possible to still get replacement parts for doors made when dinosaurs still walked the earth! I'm a big fan of Anderson doors because they are so stinkin sturdy but it is a very costly investment. This is for our family lake house and it's not used enough for that type of replacement. But still need doors that slide without tearing arm and back muscles.
Thank you again Ben!! I'll be in touch Monday after getting the pictures.

Probably not helpful, but that's what it is.
