Harvey Estate Series Storm Doors

Hello In am looking for parting bead/ sash retainers this is what Inwas told they are called for my Harvey Estate Series Storm Door? It measures 36x80
I need the sash retainers so I can put in my screen? Thank you for your help

Thanks for posting. I am afraid we cannot supply this type of retainer strip as it's no longer made. That is the trouble with a lot of these old retainer strips. Fortunately, I believe you can use our 70-180 as a substitute, along with drilling a hole for our 33-020 screw.

The 70-180 would need to be secured on the face of the door with a 33-020 screw. The end leg of the clip has a 1/2" reach and should press up against the screen or glass panel in the door holding it in place. I would suggest installing four or five on each side and maybe two at the top.

Alternatively, you could also use your existing strips, cut it into pieces, and spread them evenly around the door. You don't need whole strips for this to work.
