Have Double Hung Windows that need new channels

Welcome back! To start, you'll need to remove the jamb liners to get to the balance and shoes. First, tilt in and remove the top and bottom sashes. Then you should be able to pop out the jamb liners from the wood window jambs. 

From there, you can slide out the balance system from the jamb liners. The balance is hooked at the top of the jamb liners. We'll need to see the balance and locking shoe. Please include the length of the metal channel and spring weight stamped on the balance, too. Let us know if you need any further clarification on anything.
