Having trouble fitting latch bar into 40-150

Question

I received the inside handle but I am having trouble getting it to fit the latch bar. Do you have a bar that would fit the handle 40-150?

Are you referring to the spindle? Keep in mind that the 40-150 can work with two different spindle sizes depending on whether the insert is installed or not; it can accept a 1/8" spindle with the insert, and works with 5/16" and 3/8" spindles without the insert. To remove spindle insert, you can use a 3/32 Allen wrench to loosen the bolt on the side of handle. After that the spindle insert should fall out.
