Help Buying Sash Balances

Question

Hi Dr. Swisco,
I have a broken sash balance I want to replace with the stamp 13-5 F05 CMC 43 on it. Im planning on getting two 14" (measured the meta channel from metal end to metal end) 13-15 lb balances. The series for sale on your website is S385-14. Will these be compatible with the window? Here's a picture if it helps.

I agree that the S385-14 looks close, but I can't verify that this will work based on your photo alone. The other possibility is our S380-14, which is the same design but has a 1" deep shoe instead of 1-3/32".

You'll have to measure your shoe to verify the better match between them. The diagram below will show you the precise difference.
