The metal channel is approximately 22 1/4" long and 1/2" wide. It has stamped on it 22 4. I am unable to find the manufacturer for the windows. So, I have been unable to contact the manufacturer. So your assistance is very much appreciated. If you need more information, please let me know what you need.

There are a bunch of subtle details that render this balance incompatible with our stock products, but the two biggest issues are the length of the metal channel (22-7/8" in your case) and the length of the cord. These balances are made with an extended cord; using a stock balance would mean that the cord would yank out of the pulley before the window closes.
