Help ID part

Question

I have an aluminum frame tilting window that wont stay up. I recently replaced the spiral balances with two 3/8" W 16" L blue tip balances but it didnt solve the issue. Upon further inspection it looks like these plastic parts holding the balances are cracked or broken but I dont know what to replace them with.

Hello there. It sounds like you may need new pivot shoes. The video below shows how to remove them. If you can remove one, send us a clear photo, and also tell us its width and thickness, we'll do our best to help.
