Help Identify Channel Balance w/Top

There are numbers on the Channel Balance as you can see in the picture: 31 4 FWF CMC 4
Can you assist?

S390-32 is your balance. 3140 is the equivalent to "31 4." You should see that available on our site.

I'm afraid we don't have any other top attachment for this style balance. I think it will still work for you. I've never heard of a balance blowing out the top of a sash because one of the nylon attachments was too skinny. I can't imagine how that would happen. Odds are, that had more to do with either the strength of the spring being too strong, or the top sash guides were too brittle.
The depth of the bottom shoe is more important in this instance. If the top attachment is a little too skinny, it won't matter as long as the bottom shoe is at the proper depth. That's what keeps the balance firmly in place.
Even all that aside, we don't have an alternate version of the 19-002. This is your only option. I personally don't think it will be a problem, and I recommend looking over your broken window to see if there was another reason why they broke like they did.

There is one measurement missing on the parts diagram of the 19-002 and that is the depth. The top on my Channel Balance has a depth of .788". I believe the depth on the 19-002 is closer to .700". Can you confirm?
I've had a set of non-OEM Channel Balances installed from a local supplier that appear to be the same as the S390-32. However, it failed spectacularly and blew out the top of the vinyl window when I installed it. The depth appears to be the issue here as there is too much side to side movement with the lesser depth replacements.
