Hello,
The rope for our window balance ended up breaking recently. I'm looking to find a replacement for this one. Our window weighs 20 lbs and is a non-tilt. The width of the balance is 1/2 inch with a length of 27 inches. Both the top and bottom fittings have wings that measure to 15/16 inch. The width of the bottom fittings measures approximately an inch. Help identifying the right part is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your post! This window balance is similar to a few different balance series we have but they are not all interchangeable. To narrow down the correct replacement, I'll need to see a photo of the spring and the cord (string) from the existing balances. I'm particularly looking to see the bracket connecting the two.

I took a photo of the window balance that was still intact and upclose shots of the ends of the rope. I'm not sure if those will be helpful.

Thanks for the requested information. This window balance can be replaced with either the S380-27 or the S385-27. You'll need to measure the shoe's depth to determine the correct series.
Our 2640 stamp option will support sashes weighing between 19 to 26lbs.
