Thanks so much for reaching out to us. Our 87-147 will work with the Masterview windows from the 1990's, which are very common in the Phoenix area. However, you will have to make a very slight modification. I'll do my best to explain.

According to what we've observed, the wheel (mount in center) is slightly too wide, which causes it to bind. It does fit but ultimately will jam up quickly and fail if you don't modify it. What you can do is use a rotary tool, such as a dremel, to ever so slightly narrow the wheel dowel and widen the aluminum window frame where the wheel dowel binds. This doesn't alter the structural integrity of the window or roller at all. You also want to use a good teflon lubricant, though apply it lightly.

This fix may be the only alternative, Masterview is long out of business as far as we're aware this old roller is not available anywhere.
