Help Identifying Roto Casement Window Locking Mechanism (Latch & Keeper)

Professional from Los Angeles, Ca

Hello SWISCO Team,

We’re working on servicing a series of Roto casement windows and have identified most of the replacement parts we need on your site — including the operators, tracks, hinges, and handles. We've already received pricing on many of these, but one key component remains unidentified.

We are missing the locking mechanisms, specifically the latch and keeper components. We’ve uploaded several photos of the hardware we’re trying to track down and replace.

Could you please assist in identifying these parts and provide pricing and availability if possible?

To summarize:

  • Brand: Roto
  • Type: Casement window
  • Request: Identification and pricing for locking hardware (keeper and latch)
  • Photos: Uploaded

We appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,Jason

Thanks for reaching out to us. Your lock appears to be a match for either our 38-095 or 38-096. The only difference between them is the projection of the fork from the housing. This is measured in a very specific way, however, so be sure to carefully review the specs for each part before you buy anything to verify the best option.

You also mentioned a keeper, but I don't see a keeper in these photos. Can you kindly show me a photo of that component?

Thank you for your help. I've attached a couple of pictures showing the locking bar, latches, and keepers.

I found the Roto G2-11 and G2-12 keepers on the site, but I'm unsure which one to choose based on these images. Could you please help me identify the correct items? I need the entire assembly.

Thanks! We do carry a number of Roto keepers like this, but none are exactly the same. Before we recommend that you try to retrofit one of ours, please give us a little more time to research this.

Hello! I'd like to once again thank you for waiting. I just received word that we may be able to supply this keeper, but we're still waiting on a quote. If we can get these, we expect production of stock to take about 5 weeks. Would you be willing to wait that long? If so, let me know and we can pull the trigger on having these made.

Yes, we're definitely willing to wait for the parts.
Obviously we need pricing on the parts.
But before we go into that, can you confirm that we are talking about all the locking parts in the pictures above? not just the keeper.
I'm referring to the white keeper, the long locking bar, small clips on the locking bar, and lastly, the brass locking pins on the bar as well.
Thanks and I look forward to your reply

Tom is out for a couple of days, but I see that he recommended either the 38-095 or 38-096 locks, depending on the projection of your locking fork. The locks are stock items that can be purchased on our website. The keepers are the only part that would need to be special-ordered.

Tom related some additional parts on this page for you as well. If you need the tie bars, we'll need you to write out the exact length and confirm the number of rollers it has on the tie bar.

Thanks again for waiting. Just wanted to let you know that the strikers you need are on order and we're just waiting on stock to be made up for them. I'll notify you on our site the second they're available in our catalog for purchase!

Okay, we finally have the new part! Please see our 38-297 Roto keeper. I believe this is just the part you need to complete your project.

Thanks again for your patience! Feel free reach out if you had any follow up questions.
