Help Installing 83-003

To replace the outside handle, you'll need to drill out the existing rivet using a 1/8" diameter drill bit like our 75-506 . To reinstall the outside handle, you would need to use a short pop rivet like the 33-006 , along with a pop rivet tool like the 75-012 . 

I'm not positive but if the mounting hole is not too large you may be able to use a screw such as the 33-072 . The reason the manufacturer used pop rivets is that the screws from the two handles hit when installed.
